Poche ore fa è scaduto l’embargo sulle reaction dei giornalisti che hanno visto in anteprima i primi quattro episodi di Agatha All Along, la nuova serie dei Marvel Studios in uscita su Disney+ il 19 settembre.

Agatha All Along è tutto ciò che desideravo e molto di più. È diventata subito la mia serie preferita della Marvel. È divertente, misteriosa e deliziosamente inquietante. Ha una storia ben congegnata che ti tiene agganciato fin dall’inizio.

Le dinamiche dei personaggi sono eccezionali, con un’alchimia incredibile tra tutti. L’intero cast offre interpretazioni così stellari che è difficile scegliere i migliori. Le accoppiate di Kathryn e Joe, e di Kathryn e Aubrey sono particolarmente meravigliose: rimarrete completamente incantati dal loro fascino.

Agatha All Along ha un inizio lento, ma ingrana verso la fine del secondo episodio. È più maturo e inquietante del previsto! Posta in gioco!

Kathryn Hahn e Aubrey Plaza sono fantastiche, soprattutto insieme. Temo che la parte centrale possa essere ridondante, ma spero che rimanga così coinvolgente e divertente. Mi sono piaciuti i primi quattro episodi!

Kathryn Hahn & Aubrey Plaza are fantastic, especially together. I fear the middle may be redundant but I hope it stays so engaging & fun.

Agatha All Along è una serie scatenata, nel senso positivo del termine.

Kathryn Hahn è una forza, che si è fatta valere come Agatha Harkness come tutti sapevamo avrebbe fatto. Anche il resto del cast è divino, e Joe Locke è un gioiello. Vivace, stravagante e brillante.

Agatha All Along is absolutely batsh*t crazy in all the right kinds of ways.

Kathryn Hahn is a force, camping it up as Agatha Harkness like we all knew she would. The rest of the cast is also divine, and Joe Locke is a gem.

Non sono mancati però i commenti negativi; ve ne riportiamo qualcuno di seguito:

Ho appena guardato gli episodi 1-4 di Agatha All Along. Sfortunatamente, NON mi sono divertito molto. Questa potrebbe essere la serie peggiore dell’MCU. La sceneggiatura e la recitazione sono mediocri nella migliore delle ipotesi.

Ha avuto molti momenti che erano francamente e a dir poco “cringe”. Odio davvero criticare serie come questa, ma è stato davvero molto difficile guardarla. L’unico aspetto positivo è Aubrey Plaza. È stata fantastica ogni volta che è apparsa sullo schermo.

Unfortunately, I did NOT have a good time with it.

Agatha All Along è la prima uscita dei Marvel Studios, film o serie TV, che ho scelto di non finire. Ho guardato i primi quattro episodi e non ho alcun interesse per quello che sta succedendo, o per come potrebbe andare a finire. Una fatica noiosa.

In ogni episodio, Agatha e la sua congrega si fermano per una prova in una escape room. Devono risolvere il mistero per continuare la ricerca. Vi sembra innovativo? Un nuovo tipo di narrazione, forse… non è così.

Ho guardato i primi 4 episodi di Agatha All Along. È ok. Dopo un inizio divertente, rallenta. Non prende sul serio sé stessa o i suoi personaggi e nemmeno il pubblico dovrebbe farlo. Il personaggio misterioso di Joe Locke è l’unico simpatico, ma usa il trucco del marketing del mistero Marvel invece di essere un personaggio davvero sviluppato.

È una roba da televisione, che perde contro i contenuti premium dello streaming.

I primi 4 episodi di Agatha All Along non mi hanno convinto molto del fatto che il personaggio avesse bisogno di uno show tutto suo. Questo potrebbe cambiare nella seconda metà della serie, ma per ora… non fa per me.

The first 4 episodes of AGATHA ALL ALONG didn’t really do much to convince me the character needed their own show. That could change in the second half but as of right now… it’s very much not my thing.
