A sorpresa, poche ore fa il regista James Gunn ha pubblicato online la prima foto ufficiale di David Corenswet nei panni di Superman, che sarà protagonista del film omonimo in uscita al cinema l’11 luglio 2025. Il costume include gli iconici mutandoni rossi e il logo ispirato a Kingdom Come, ma anche il colletto simile alla versione del rilancio a fumetti New 52. Al momento non è dato sapere se avrà anche il simbolo sul mantello, come nelle illustrazioni classiche.
Questo costume (e più in generale la foto scelta da Gunn, molto più “intima” e meno eroica) non ha convinto tutti i fan, che inevitabilmente lo hanno messo a confronto con le versioni del passato, soprattutto con quella di Henry Cavill. Su Twitter i fan si sono letteralmente divisi: c’è chi loda questo nuovo costume, chi apprezza soltanto determinati elementi ma non l’intero costume (il colletto alto è tra i più criticati) e chi invece è rimasto fortemente deluso.
